Land Fire Prevention

Fire prevention encompasses all efforts, actions, or activities undertaken to prevent or reduce the likelihood of fire incidents. The prevention measures implemented include identifying fire-prone areas, assessing the factors that cause forest and land fires, forming fire response teams, establishing standard operating procedures, procuring necessary equipment and facilities, conducting fire patrols and hotspot monitoring, fire drills, and promoting a zero-burning policy.

As part of preparedness efforts for potential fires in plantations, land, and buildings, the Company carries out regular maintenance and inspections of all firefighting facilities and equipment once every month. In addition, every six months, the Company is required to report the implementation of fire prevention and control measures to the relevant authorities.

This reporting is part of the Company’s compliance with the ISPO Principle and Criterion 3.6.5.
