Conservation Management

In conducting its business operations, the Company pays close attention to and supports biodiversity conservation efforts, particularly in areas surrounding its operational sites. The Company strives to ensure that its presence does not harm the habitats of flora, fauna, and essential ecosystem services within these designated local protection areas.
The Company has identified High Conservation Value (HCV) areas within its concession, with a total conservation protection area of 1,032.14 hectares. Management activities within these conservation areas include the installation and maintenance of HCV boundary markers, nursery development and enrichment planting of conservation species, maintenance of warning signs within conservation zones, control of Invasive Alien Species (IAS), biodiversity monitoring, as well as socialization and awareness programs on the functions and importance of conservation protection areas.
